I just saw the Pride Of The Yankees for the first time a few weeks ago. The Babe Ruth Story is actually on my Netflix list to watch soon.

Some of my favorite memories from Yankee games haven’t been at the games themselves, but at other stadiums and getting a lot of hate pointed in the direction of the Yankees and their fans. The pay back is when the Yankees win again and again.

I saw my first game literally about forty years later and I’ll never forget any of my trips to Yankee stadium.

I hate people who love to hate the Yankees. In fact, I hate people who love to hate.

Like Billy Crystal, I saw my first game at Yankee Stadium, Joe DiMaggio played center. I was hooked from then on. That was in 1947.

I know I’ve seen at least one movie where the Dallas Cowboys were the bad guys, but there’s definitely nothing in comparison to the New York Yankees.

The Yankees truly are the team you love to hate. Also, I do not the same in movies about football. You would expect that “America’s Team” the Cowboys (**bleh**) would be the bad guy team…
